Bio
Sana Sethi is an Organizer at the ACLU of Northern California.
In her role, Sana works with volunteers in San Francisco and Vallejo to advance criminal justice reform and public safety for all. This includes planning events to engage and mobilize community members and volunteers to action, building relationships with new volunteers, and strengthening relationships with existing volunteers.
Over the past six years, Sana has organized young people and worked in multi-racial, multi-generational coalitions. The issues she has worked on include civic engagement, healthcare for all, gun violence prevention, reproductive justice, and police accountability. In addition, she held roles in communications where she utilized social media skills, acquired press coverage, and produced digital ads to boost the visibility of campaigns.
Sana is passionate about empowering people, especially those from marginalized communities, to advocate for social and economic change that will influence the decisions that impact them.
You can usually find Sana immersed in a novel, taking her dog on a sniffing tour of the neighborhood (not much walking is done), or soaking up the sun on yet another beautiful Bay Area hike.
