Cecilia Bermúdez

Intake Program Manager & Litigation Assistant

Bio

Cecilia Bermúdez is the Intake Program Manager and Litigation Assistant at the ACLU of Northern California. She manages the Civil Liberties Intake Program and provides litigation support to attorneys in active litigation and advocacy matters.

Prior to joining the ACLU-NC, Ceci worked as a criminal defense and immigration paralegal at two boutique firms in Southern California. Before that, Ceci worked as a legal advocate at the East Bay Community Law Center providing advocacy to low-income, homeless and mentally disabled clients in matters regarding small claims, consumer protection, debt collection, criminal infractions, and race discrimination. She is also an alumnus of the JusticeCorps program, an AmeriCorps program that serves self-represented litigants in the Bay Area.  

Ceci graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
