Prop 39 Fast Facts

California's elections are secure. Prop 39, the voter ID initiative on the November 2026 ballot, would require voters to show government-issued ID every time they vote — creating privacy risks, barriers for eligible voters, ballot rejections, and targeting communities that already face obstacles to voting. All this to solve a problem that doesn't exist. Vote NO on Prop 39.
